Sage Theatre presents Frozen by Bryony Lavery. Ten-year-old Rhona disappears, and this tragic event ties together the lives of three strangers: her mother Nancy, who drifts into a state of frozen hope; Ralph, a tattooed drifter; and Agnetha, an academic studying the nature of serial killings and mourning a loss of her own. Ground Zero Theatre and Hit & Myth present The Lieutenant of Inishmore by Martin McDonagh. A vicious, blood-splattered laugh-riot! As part of an I.R.A. splinter group, Padraic thinks nothing of mutilating his enemies—but the sudden death of his beloved cat leaves him heartbroken. But was his cat’s death an accident? Or part of a plan to lead him back home? Amidst the comedy and carnage is a commentary on the endless cycle of violence that engulfs our world.

Urban Curvz presents Essay & The Russian Play by Hannah Moscovitch. Pixie, a bright and clever University student finds herself unwittingly caught amid a debate over the relevance of one obscure female historical figures’ accomplishments in Essay, while The Russian Play tells the story of Sonya, a woman from 1920’s Communist Russia, a victim of love and of a highly oppressive system whose accomplishments will not be included in any history textbooks.

The Invisible Elephant Performance Ensemble weaves the fates of a mysterious gunslinger, a ruthless assassin and a beautiful widow into an epic tale of vengeance, renewal and rugged perseverance.
